The DK 12 program collaborates with undergraduate and graduate students, high school teachers and college professors, to develop, implement, and evaluate multimedia laboratory activities for students at the Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia (CAPA). The DK-12 program, addresses the Grand Three Challenge: "Cutting-Edge STEM Content in K-12 Classrooms"

With this goal in mind, DK 12  plans to develop laboratories and activities that will help target artistically gifted students, and help to them to develop motivation for  Math and Science by exposing them to everyday commonly used applications in the arts and music that rely on Scientifically Technological Engineered Mathematically based algorithms and procedures.
